Welcome to Art of Interpretation! Thank you for visiting my blog. I took the advice of a book titled, The Entrepreneurial Linguist- The Business-School Approach to Freelance Translation written by, Judy A. Jenner and Dagmar V. Jenner, in creating this blog. This book has done wonders for me in identifying the process in progressing as an interpreter. I hope to meet them in the near future (and they are just down the street; lucky me!). As the title suggests, this blog is intended to disclose my life as an interpreter and my thoughts on language. I hope I'm not 三日坊主(みっかぼうず/ mikka bouzu) on this new venture. The Japanese proverb translates to "three-day monk" which is used to describe people who start things with big promises and great enthusiasm, but never see them through to the end.
On a personal note,
Seriously, EXCUSE ME.. BRAD JONES. Where is the fun in hurting other people? If you every receive an email from Brad Jones, its a Nigerian Scam. Do not respond to him. Lesson learned: Craig's List can be scary.
